Special features for 2012

The Tahoe, Tahoe Hybrid and Suburban are all sturdy full-size trucks, oriented toward carrying heavy loads of passengers or cargo and towing large trailers. Both V8 engines provide strong performance, while the Tahoe and Suburban handle much better--even around town--than their mammoth exterior might suggest. In addition, the Tahoe Hybrid remains one of the most efficient full-size SUVs yet fully capable of heavy loads and tow duty.
Coming as a single trim version with an option of rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid is well equipped with valued standard features. Leather seating for 8 passengers, tri-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity and a touchscreen-operated stereo system offering MP3 compatibility as well as a USB connection is placed inside the 2012 Tahoe. A power sunroof as well as a rear-seat entertainment system featuring DVD player and two wireless headphones are the only major options which can be added to the 2012 Tahoe Hybrid. Powering the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid is a 6-liter V-8 engine that incorporates Active Fuel Management and aluminum construction. Making the powertrain most unique is the two-mode transmission. Featuring four gears, two electric motors are found inside of the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid’s transmission allowing for much more robust fuel economy. With either a rear-wheel or four-wheel drivetrain, the 332-horsepower 2012 Tahoe Hybrid achieves 20 miles per gallon city and 23 miles per gallon highway.
