Special features for 2012

The Tahoe, Tahoe Hybrid and Suburban are all sturdy full-size trucks, oriented toward carrying heavy loads of passengers or cargo and towing large trailers. Both V8 engines provide strong performance, while the Tahoe and Suburban handle much better--even around town--than their mammoth exterior might suggest. In addition, the Tahoe Hybrid remains one of the most efficient full-size SUVs yet fully capable of heavy loads and tow duty.
Featuring few changes over the previous year model, the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe enters in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels. Standard features found throughout the 2012 Tahoe line-up includes air conditioning with rear controls, Bluetooth connectivity, 17-inch aluminum wheels, electronic cruise control and power windows. The top-trimmed 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ comes loaded with an adaptive Autoride suspension, rearview camera system and a Bose 10-speaker stereo system with a touch-screen navigation console. All 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe sport utility vehicles are powered by a 5.3 liter, Vortec V-8 engine matched with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. With the engine producing 320 horsepower, rear wheel and four-wheel drivetrains can be selected for the vehicle. Regardless of the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe being rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, gas mileage is rated at 15 miles per gallon city and 21 miles per gallon highway. A rigid truck-based vehicle, the 2012 Tahoe also features the safety of six air bags, OnStar, StabiliTrak stability control and anti-lock brakes.
