2009 model year changes

The Hyundai Santa Fe remains largely unchanged for 2009. The standard stereo has been upgraded, and now includes an auxiliary USB port. Steel gray is no longer available, as is silver blue. Willow gray is a new paint, as is medium silver blue, radiant silver and pearl white.

Connected to a five-speed manual transmission, the base engine is a 2.7L V6 producing 185 hp with the FWD model. The AWD model is mated to a four-speed auto. The upper trim levels utilize a five-speed automatic and a 3.3L V6 which churns out 242 hp.
