Special features for 2008

The 2008 Kia Rio is one of the lowest-priced cars for sale in the U.S., and is also one of the more fuel-efficient with a city EPA rating of up to 32 mpg. It also stands out for its nicely tuned suspension, which offers a less choppy ride than many other small cars, and for its generous interior space; according to Kia, the Rio sedan's 92.2 cubic feet of passenger volume is larger than either the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla. The Rio is also especially attractive for its warranty coverage--Kia offers a five-year or 60,000-mile limited warranty, 10 years or 100,000 miles on powertrain, and five years or 60,000 miles of roadside assistance.
The 2008 Kia Rio is an economical and practical get-around-town car offered in four door Sedan and five door Hatchback body styles, in Base, LX and SX trims. Under the hood, the Rio comes equipped with a decent 110 horsepower 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder mated to your choice of automatic or manual transmission depending on the model. In addition to offering seating capacity for up to five, the Rio comes equipped with front/side-body/side-head airbags, auto off headlights, child safety rear door locks, an emergency trunk release and front bucket seats.
