Special features for 2008

With its versatile and easy-to-clean interior, the boxy 2008 Honda Element is well suited for people who carry gear for outdoor activities, and for those with dogs. Its compact overall dimensions, good maneuverability and tall driving position make it a great city vehicle. With plenty of standard safety equipment and a low base price, the Element makes a good value proposition.
Virtually unchanged for 2008, the Honda Element features unique box-like styling and a 166 horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine with a 5-speed automatic transmission and stability control. The Element comes available in LX, EX and SC trims with optional AWD. The SC, Element’s sport version, offers a unique suspension system, lowered height, 18-inch wheels and painted bumpers and trim. In addition to keyless entry, the Element offers plenty of standard equipment and safety features, including a drive-by-wire throttle system and rack-and-pinion steering.
