In more ways than one, the 2007 Volkswagen line is opened to new possibilities. The all-new Volkswagen Eos is solely offered with a hardtop convertible body style. The roof of the four-passenger 2007 Eos can power retract into the trunk in 25 seconds. The 2007 Volkswagen Passat wagon has been reintroduced to the brand range based on the new sedan styling. Available in a limited release, the 2007 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg Edition incorporates some of the features of the GLI into a five-cylinder model. A Fahrenheit edition version of the 2007 Volkswagen GTI sports a vibrant Magma Orange color, 18-inch wheels, heated seats and a six-speed DSG transmission. Several changes have been made to the German brand's powerplant selection for 2007. The V-6 engine of the 2007 Volkswagen Touareg now produces an output of 276 horsepower. TDI diesel-engined versions of the Volkswagen Jetta Beetle has been deleted from the 2007 model line-up. Dropped from the Volkswagen line-up in 2007 after the luxury-themed Phaeton proved to be a tough sell in the United States.
