2007 model year changes

The Honda Element gets freshened styling inside and out for 2007, along with ten more horsepower from the engine, and a new electronic throttle. The available automatic transmission now has five speeds rather than four. The Element also includes more safety equipment than before: vehicle stability assist (VSA) and anti-lock brakes with brake assist are now standard across the line, and base LX models now get standard keyless entry.

A refresh for 2007, the Element is a four-door four-passenger cross-over SUV offered in three trim levels – the LX, EX, and SC. The standard engine is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that produces 166 horsepower and comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission (with a five-speed automatic as optional on the LX and EX and standard on the SC model). All models are offered in both two and four-wheel-drive configuration.
