2007 model year changes

Cadillac introduced the XLR in 2004, and has changed little moving into 2007. A new ultra-luxury Platinum trim package is available, as is a low-production Passion Red special edition package that includes an exclusive paint and unique leather seats.

Corvette-like performance in a Cadillac package; folding hard top standard; magnetic ride control.

Special features for 2007

The 2007 Cadillac XLR competes in a narrow car segment, but one that includes some of the world's most prestigious brands. One of the most distinguishing features of the Cadillac is its standard retractable hard top, which most high-end performance coupes do not have. The Cadillac is more elegantly simple than many of its peers, with no complex driving electronics and no performance adjustments to be made. It instead offers a broad torque curve and plenty of dramatic Cadillac style.

A carry-over for 2006, the XLR-V is one of the most powerful Cadillac's ever produced. The ultra-luxury V-Class offers handcrafted interiors and a 443HP Northstar V8 engine linked to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode from a clutch-less 32bit controller.
