Suzuki's Grand Vitara compact sport utility vehicle is completely redesigned for 2006. Riding on a larger wheelbase than its predecessor, the 2006 Grand Vitara boasts improved interior space. A 185-horsepower, 2.7-liter V-6 engine, electronic stability control and anti-lock braking system is found standard on all 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara models. For 2006, Suzuki has reclassified the trim levels for their entire vehicle lineup dropping the letter coding for names. Adding side impact front airbags to their Aerio models in 2005, Suzuki has again improved the safety of the compact sedan and wagon by standardizing anti-lock braking for 2006. Anti-lock braking system is also upgraded to a standard features list on the 2006 Suzuki Verona.
