Providing a hardtop hatchback as well as a convertible body style for 2006, MINI remains inspired by unique British flare aided by German engineering. First offered in the United States during the 2002 model year, the MINI Cooper three-door hatchback has demonstrated the allure of a timeless small car design originally conceived in the 1950s. Delivering some new energy to the premium small car last year, the MINI Cooper Convertible returns for 2006 equipped with a power retractable soft-top. Both the 2006 MINI Cooper hatchback and convertible are available as a base trimmed model as well as a sport-minded Cooper S powered by a supercharged engine.
