The 2001 Volkswagen Passat is available in a variety of configurations, in four door Sedan and four door Wagon body styles, in GLS and GLX trims. Engines range from a 150 horsepower 1.8-liter inline 4-cylinder to a 190 horsepower 2.8-liter gas-powered V6 with your choice of manual or automatic transmission, depending on the model. The Passat comes nicely equipped with front and rear air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, power accessories, heated lumbar seats, a trip computer, front and side-body airbags, ABS brakes, child safety locks and traction control.
