The Buick line-up boasts a modest but upscale variety of four vehicles for 2001. One of the biggest additions to the 2001 Buick range is the introduction of a Joseph Abboud version of the Buick Regal. The 2001 Regal Joseph Abboud edition is a special appearance package featuring unique emblems, 16-inch aluminum wheels and a leather interior utilizing a two-tone coloring. A year after a complete redesign, the 2001 Buick LeSabre now provides standard StabiliTrak electronic stability control on the LS trim level. Leather interior is now standard on all versions of the flagship Buick Park Avenue sedan. A new option of the 2001 Park Avenue is an Ultrasonic rear park assist system. For 2001, the General Motors' OnStar communications system becomes more widely available on Buick products. OnStar is standard on the 2001 Buick Regal GS, Century Limited and is now optional on the LeSabre.
