Becoming a fixture in the recreational vehicle industry during the 1960s, Carriage made a name for itself for building well-crafted trailers. Producing fifth wheel and travel trailers, the Carriage name was attached to upscale vacation accommodations. After more than four decades in the marketplace, the Carriage trailer line was forced out of business in 2011 when the company went into receivership. CrossRoads RV acquired the assets and trademarks that belonged to the Carriage trailer business.
