Designed as an innovative, intermediate step between Class B and Class C motorhome flexibility, the TranStar line was created by Champion Home Builders. Based on Dodge and Chevrolet vans, the 19.5-foot to 29-foot line-up of TranStar motorhomes offered high interior ceilings, sleeping capacity for up to six occupants along with impressive fuel economy. The TranStar name was replaced after the 1986 model year and was replaced with Telstar.
