An Ohio-based motorhome manufacturer in the 1960s and 1970s, Superior proudly advertised their vehicle’s steel construction as an advantage within the industry. Superior Class A motorhomes ranging from 21 to 29 feet in length were luxury-geared vacation vehicles featuring several highlight features for its time such as a complete kitchenette and bedroom. Despite a noticeable presence in the recreational vehicle marketplace, Superior was defeated after the 1979 model year. Steel construction combined with a zinc exterior coating insures that a fair number of Superior motorhomes are still worthy for roaming roads today.
