Bud Coons created Travel Industries Incorporated in the 1960s and committed to the construction of the Dreamer range of recreational vehicles. Producing travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, truck camper and Class C motorhomes, the diverse product line offered individuals as well as families mobile vacation accommodations. Dreamer products were finally built during the 1979 model year. The company that produced the Dreamer line of recreational vehicles would eventually transform into Diamond Coach Corporation where focus turned toward buses and transit solutions.
