2014 Yamaha XT Price Details and Specs

As a dual-purpose motorcycle, the 2014 Yamaha XT has a long-traveling suspension to handle challenging off-road trails while also possessing the qualities desired for street-legal riding. Sporting a clean, limited use of bodywork, the 2014 model year XT250 motorcycle is constructed on a semi-double-cradle steel frame. A 35-millimeter telescopic fork on the front of the XT250 permits up to 8.9 inches of wheel travel while a single shock rear suspension with rebound adjustment can travel 7.1 inches. Coupled with 11.2 inches of ground clearance, the Yamaha XT250 is capable of sufficiently clearing small obstacles on rugged paths. Front and rear disc braking provides consistent stopping power on almost any surface. An air-cooled, 249 cc four-stroke engine powers the 2014 XT250 with smooth precision supplied through fuel injection. The powerplant is paired with a wide-ratio five-speed transmission. With a great deal of prowess as a trail vehicle, the XT250’s standard electric start, halogen headlight, well-padded seat and multifunction LCD instrument panel wins riders seeking road-worthy credentials from the motorcycle. All 2014 XT250 come in Team Yamaha Blue/White.
