Engineered for performance-oriented treks through snow, the 2014 Yamaha FX Nytro line-up delivers machines suited for handling various terrain types. The FX Nytro snowmobile line utilizes a fuel-injected, 1,049 cc three-cylinder engine incorporating a digital ignition and the ease of an electric start. Available in Black, the 2014 Yamaha FX Nytro base model is configured for steady trail riding. Operating on a 120-inch Camoplast RipSaw II track with a 1.25-inch tread profile, the base FX Nytro snowmobile also boasts 40-millimeter HPG aluminum shocks as well as standard comfort features such as hand and thumb warmers. The XTX version of the 2014 FX Nytro is a cross-country snowmobile incorporating a more aggressive track. A 144-inch long Camoplast Back Country track on the Yamaha FX Nytro XTX 1.75 features a tread profile height of 1.75 inches. For mountain exploration, the 2014 FX Nytro MTX comprises of a suspension incorporating Fox Float 2 aluminum air shock absorbers. The Yamaha FX Nytro MTX is offered with a 153-inch Camoplast Maverick track as well as a 162-inch Camoplast Ascent track.
