2014 Yamaha Apex Price Details and Specs



Ideal for on-trail riding, the 2014 Yamaha Apex snowmobile line-up provides ample engine performance and handling. Available in Yamaha Blue or Heat Red graphic schemes for 2014, the Yamaha Apex features an athletic stance coupled with a windshield developed for efficiency using computer modeling. Propelled by a 998 cc Genesis engine, fuel injection, Engine Braking Reduction System and Yamaha’s EXUP valve technology provides effective yet efficient power to the rear track. With emphasis on both handling and straight-line performance, the suspension system for the base model 2014 Apex consists of front 40-millimeter HPG shock absorbers and a rear Mono Shock II RA 128 suspension unit. A Camoplast Rip Saw track measuring 128 inches in length with a 1.25-inch tread height is found on the base Apex. Featuring an upgraded suspension consisting of rear air adjustment technology, the Apex SE model also rides on Fox supplied shock absorbers. Unlike the base Yamaha Apex and Apex SE, the Apex X-TX is classified as a crossover snowmobile. The 2014 Yamaha Apex X-TX features a 144-inch long track and a dual shock rear suspension system. Dual SC outlets, electric start and mechanical reverse are standard equipment. Tuner dual-keel skis are new to the 2014 Yamaha Apex.
