The Ski-Doo Summit SP enters 2014 presenting riders with a pair of potent two-stroke engines and a variety of track lengths for deep snow trekking. The REV-XM platform serving as the basis for the 2014 Summit SP snowmobile is equipped to withstand rough and challenging riding conditions. Large openings in the running boards of the 2014 Ski-Doo Summit SP promotes high capacity snow evacuation. Supporting the 2014 Summit SP is a chromoly front dual A-arm suspension and a rear tMotion rear suspension unit permitting sizable travel sufficient for mountain riding. Engine choices for the 2014 Ski-Doo Summit SP consist of a Rotax E-TEC 600 H.O. as well as a more potent Rotax E-TEC 800R. Both two-stroke engines utilize 3-D R.A.V.E. technology and electronic direct injection. The Rotax E-TEC 600 H.O. version of the Ski-Doo Summit SP propels a 146-inch or 154-inch long track using a new 2.25-inch PowderMax tread. Offered with a 163-inch track length, a 2.5-inch track profile height PowderMax 2 tread is found with the Summit SP with a Rotax E-TEC 800R powerplant. Featuring 0.8 gallons of underseat storage, a low-profile REV-XM seat provides the rider with positioning to hold the stiff aluminum handlebar of the machine. For 2014, the Summit SP can be delivered in Orange/Black or an all-new plain Black paint scheme.
