2014 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry X Price Details and Specs



Providing strong performance on and off trail, the 2014 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry X is equipped with potent powerplants and a highly capable suspension. Constructed on a REV-XS platform, the Renegade Backcountry X provides sharp handling thanks to adjustable shock absorbers. Wearing KYB PRO 36 aluminum shock units at the front and HPG Plus R dampers at the front, the rider is presented with 22 settings of adjustment. Wearing all-new Pilot DS 2 skis, the stance can be adjusted between 38.1 and 40.1 inches. Featuring a choice between a pair of two-stroke engines, the 2014 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry X is propelled by two-cylinder Rotax engines incorporating electronic direct injection. A Rotax E-TEC 600 H.O. and an E-TEC 800R engine offered on the Renegade Backcountry X are both two-cylinder powerplants. Engine power flows to a 137-inch PowderMax track with a 1.75-inch track profile height ideal for comfortably traveling through heavier snow coverage. For 2014, new color schemes for the Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry X provide a refreshed look for the snowmobile. Matte Black paint is now offered on the all Renegade Backcountry X models. For the machines equipped with the Rotax E-TEC 800R, a White/Red color scheme provides a dazzling performance presentation for the Ski-Doo snowmobile. Carbine runner, 12-inch windscreen and a seat with 1.3 gallons of concealed storage is standard on the 2014 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry X.
