Designed for winter adventures on and off trail, the 2014 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry sports an athletic look and potent two-stroke engine power. For 2014, an all-new REV-XS platform provides a heightened amount of balanced handling and strength. Painted Black, the Renegade Backcountry provides the rider with an aggressive physique complemented by a 137-inch PowderMax track with a 1.75-inch profile height and a new 15-inch windshield. The handlebars have also been fitted with a stiffer grab handle for 2014, granting the snowmobile’s operator more confident control. Power for the 2014 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry is sourced from a pair of available two-stroke Rotax engines. Selecting either the Rotax E-TEC 600 H.O. or the E-TEC 800R engine for the 2014 Renegade Backcountry, both powerplants feature 3-D R.A.V.E. technology, electronic direct injection and a two-cylinder layout. New for 2014, Renegade Backcountry models equipped with the Rotax E-TEC 600 H.O. engine receives a standard electric starter. Other features found on the 2014 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry includes Pilot DS 2 skis, Brembo braking and a 1.3 gallons of underseat storage.
