2014 Kawasaki KX™ Price Details and Specs



Targeted for motocross use, the 2014 Kawasaki KX™ celebrates 40 years of competition. Constructed on a frames made of high-tensile steel, the 2014 Kawasaki KX™ line-up provides a wide variety of riding skill levels. The smallest version of the Kawasaki KX™ line, the 2014 KX65 is powered by a two-stroke 65 cc engine. The suspension system of the 2014 Kawasaki KX65 allows up to 8.3 inches of front wheel travel and 9.4 inches of rear wheel travel. Disc brakes provide solid stopping at the front and rear of the Kawasaki KX65. For a step up from the KX65, 2014 Kawasaki KX85 presents a larger 85 cc engine as well as wheel travel extended to 10.8 inches. A 2014 Kawasaki KX100 motocross bike is equipped with the same suspension as the KX85 but is fitted with a more potent 99 cc powerplant and a 34.3-inch ride height. Two-stroke engine configurations are found onboard the KX85 and KX100. For serious motocross riders progressing through the ranks, the 2014 Kawasaki KX250F features 12.4 inches of wheel travel and is powered by a fuel-injected, 249 cc four-stroke engine. New for 2014, the Kawasaki KX250F is equipped with Launch Control, thinner engine mounts and softer handlebar grips. At the peak of the 2014 Kawasaki KX™ line-up, the KX450F uses a 449 cc engine for optimal performance for competition riding. A Kayaba Pneumatic Spring Fork at the front of the 2014 Kawasaki KX450F provides 22 positions of compression and 20 positions of rebound.
