Designed for cross-country riding, the 2014 KTM XC presents motorcycles with two-stroke and four-stroke engine power. Presenting a wide assortment of performance characteristics suiting varying skill levels and budgets, the 2014 KTM XC shares frame construction using chrome molybdenum steel as well as the full disc braking. Well-suited for teenagers or young adults, the 2014 KTM 150 XC is powered by a 144 cc single-cylinder, two-stroke engine. Weighing just 208 pounds overall, the nimble 2014 KTM 150 XC motorcycle features 11.8 inches of front wheel travel and 12.5 inches at rear travel. The KTM 250 XC and 300 XC are similar to the 150 XC model with larger displacement two-stroke powerplants. Fuel-injected, Four-stroke engined models of the 2014 KTM XC is available with the 250 XC-F, 350 XC-F, 450 XC-F and 500 W. Featuring a wide-ratio transmission and tapered Neken handlebars, the 2014 KTM XC-W models also present up to 13.2 inches of rear wheel travel. With exception to the 150 XC model, the 2014 KTM XC range features motorcycles with electric starters.
