2014 Honda Pioneer Price Details and Specs

Replacing the Big Red as Honda’s utility vehicle for 2014, the Pioneer delivers an elevated sensation of off-road performance. Ideal for both work and play, the 2014 Honda Pioneer is a freshly styled utility vehicle constructed on a new steel frame. A new engine mount system on the Pioneer has been developed to lessen vibration for an overall smoother ride. Rolling on 25-inch diameter tires, the 2014 Honda Pioneer operates on a four-wheel double-wishbone independent suspension delivering 7.9 inches of travel at the front and 9.1 inches of travel at the rear. Hydraulic disc brakes are located at the front and rear of the Honda utility vehicle. The Honda Pioneer is being introduced for the 2014 model year with a two-person 700 model and a 700-4 variant that can accommodate up to four passengers. A potent 675 cc four-stroke engine propels both models of the 2014 Pioneer. Using Honda’s Programmed Fuel Injection technology, the Pioneer’s powerplant is linked to an automobile-style automatic transmission with three forward gears and reverse. The four-wheel drive system of the 2014 Pioneer can operate in three modes (2WD, 4WD and 4WD with differential lock). Towing capacity for the 2014 Honda Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 700-4 is rated at 1,500 pounds. On the Pioneer 700-4 model, the seating can be altered thanks to a stow-away rear seat design. Color options for the 2014 Honda Pioneer include Red, Olive and Honda Phantom Camo.
