2014 Can-Am Outlander™ MAX Price Details and Specs

For times when solo all-terrain vehicle riding becomes lonesome, the 2014 Can-Am™ Outlander™ MAX provides specialized rear passenger comfort. The most notable feature on this all-terrain vehicle is the employment of two-up seating. Described by Can-Am™ as Convertible Rack/Seat System, the rear seat area can be quickly augmented to storage space during solo riding. The 2014 Outlander™ MAX is constructed on a Surrounding Spar Technology G2 frame comprised of welded steel. A four-wheel drive machine, the traction of the Outlander™ MAX is enhanced with the inclusion of a Visco-Lok auto-locking front differential. A fully independent suspension system provides excellent wheel travel for off-road riding. Featuring electronically fuel-injected V-twin engines, the 2014 Can-Am™ Outlander™ MAX line consists of a 400, 500, 650, 800R and an 82-horsepower 1000 model. Electric start, automatic continuously variable transmission and 12-inch wheels are standard equipment for the Outlander™ MAX. A three-level adjustable power steering system called DPS is optional on the ATV for improved turning at different speeds. The DPS system is included on the 2014 Can-Am™ Outlander™ MAX XT along with bumper guards and a 3,000-pound Warn winch. The 2014 Outlander™ MAX 800R and 1000 are also available in a XT-P model equipped with a high-performance suspension. At the high-end of the 2014 Can-Am™ Outlander™ MAX line-up is the Limited that is fitted with an air-controlled suspension system and a touchscreen-enabled Garmin Montana 650T GPS unit.
