2014 Can-Am Outlander™ Price Details and Specs

The Outlander™ series of four-wheel drive all-terrain vehicles return to match riders with the desire for both utility and recreational travel. Receiving an update to its chassis last year, the Can-Am™ Outlander™ operates with the continuously variable transmission and is equipped with a Visco-Lok automatically locking front differential. The 2014 all-terrain vehicle receives power from a choice of five V-twin engines. The 400 and 500 models are well suited as an economical choice while the 650, 800R and 1000 versions of the 2014 Can-Am™ Outlander™ are geared for the operators who demand massive power delivery. All 2014 Outlander™ models feature large front and rear cargo racks for transporting cargo. Electric starting and hydraulic disc brakes are also standard on the 2014 Can-Am™ Outlander™. Optional on the 2014 Can-Am™ Outlander™ line is DPS (Dynamic Power Steering) that features three selectable modes of adjustment for more assistance at low speeds and less at high speeds. Including a number of factory-installed extras over the DPS models, the 2014 Outlander™ XT variant adds a 3,000-pound Warn winch, special cast-aluminum wheels on Carlisle tires. With the 800R and 1000 models, a XT-P version features black painted fenders as well as Fox Podium X high-performance shock absorbers. The 650, 800R and 1000 versions of the 2014 Can-Am™ Outlander™ can also be outfitted for handling extreme mud racing with the X mr package featuring aggressively treaded tires as well as radiator mounted in place of the front storage rack.
