2013 Yamaha YZF Price Details and Specs



A motorcycle targeting the performance-seeking rider, the 2013 Yamaha YZF line combines lightweight and spirited engine power. For 2013, two models of the Yamaha YZF are presented sharing the Deltabox aluminum frame and the security of full disc braking. The base tier version of the supersport bike is the 2013 Yamaha YZF-R6 powered by a 599 cc liquid-cooled engine. The four-cylinder powerplant of the 2013 Yamaha YZF-R6 features domed pistons and is fed by a fuel injection system. Introduced as the motorcycle to include Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle system, the Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle’s power is delivered in a robust response. A 41-millimeter inverted fork front suspension and a rear single shock supplies the 2013 Yamaha YFZ-R6 with a performance-oriented ride that can be customized through four-way adjustment. For premium sport motorcycle power and control, the 2013 Yamaha YZF-R1 features the investment of MotoGP technology. The 2013 Yamaha YZF-R1 is propelled by a 998 cc four-cylinder engine featuring a forced-air intake system and fuel injection for potent performance. A highlight of the 2013 Yamaha YZF-R1 is a seven-level Traction Control System. The traction control combined with the Yamaha D-MODE variable throttle control provides highly adaptive handling for the 2013 YZF-R1. Both the 2013 Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 can wear one of three exterior factory color schemes. Matte Gray, Rapid Red/Raven and Team Yamaha Blue/White are available paint options on the 2013 Yamaha YZF products.
