A large bore cruiser motorcycle, the 2013 Triumph Thunderbird is both stylish and an excellent performer. For 2013, the Triumph Thunderbird line-up features the carryover model as well as the all-new Thunderbird Storm. Built on a tubular steel frame, the 2013 Triumph Thunderbird features the regulated ride control of Showa front forks and twin shocks on the rear. The base 2013 Triumph Thunderbird is powered by a liquid-cooled 1,597 cc engine fed by a multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection system. Sporting a larger 1,699 cc engine, the 2013 Triumph Thunderbird Storm model is propelled with a lively 97 horsepower and 115 foot-pounds of torque. A six-speed transmission is connected to the engines on both the 2013 Triumph Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm. At a height of 27.5 inches from the ground, the two-passenger seating on the 2013 Triumph Thunderbird is well padded for comfort during longer distances. The instrument cluster on the 2013 Triumph Thunderbird features a large speedometer and two trip computers. All models of the 2013 Triumph Thunderbird sold in the United States are sold with an anti-lock braking system.
