Available in several configurations, the 2013 Polaris Switchback® serves as a capable snow trail sled. For 2013, the Polaris Switchback® model line adds several improvements focused on making the snowmobile more enjoyable for the rider. Pro-Steer skis are designed for reduced steering effort through the 2013 Polaris Switchback® snowmobile’s new one-piece handlebar. Divided into six models, the 2013 Polaris Switchback® line features the choice of four-stroke liquid cooled engines. The 600 Cleanfire and 800 Cleanfire are two-cylinder powerplants featuring semi-direct injection for superior performance. On the 2013 Polaris 600 Switchback® and the 800 Switchback® base models, Fox HPG shocks and a 136-inch RipSaw track manages the snowmobile’s ride. Shocks are upgraded to Walker Evans needle shocks on the Pro-R models of the 2013 Polaris Switchback®. Ideal for riders wanting to take a weekend trek through thick snow, the Polaris 600 Switchback® Adventure model adds standard features such as Lock & Ride saddlebags, extreme front bumper and a 12-volt power outlet. Desiring all-out performance, the Polaris 800 Switchback® Assault 144 delivers ProTaper handlebars and a 144-inch long Cobra track with a 1.352-inch thickness. A security system is optional on all 2013 Polaris Switchback® machines.
