Capable and versatile, the 2013 Can-Am™ Outlander™ ATV can be extensively tailored to suit many forms of off-trail adventuring. Advertised as a “next generation Outlander”, the 2013 model of the Can-Am™ Outlander™ features a reengineered chassis that highlights Geometric Contact Control. The 2013 Can-Am™ Outlander™ is an all-terrain vehicle separated by a base line, DPS and XT trim level that includes XT-P as well as X mr models. Providing a range of Rotax engines, the 2013 Can-Am™ Outlander™ supplies off-road riders with the 400, 500, 650 and 800R. 2013 Can-Am™ Outlander™ models add a Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential and power steering as standard equipment for greater trail capabilities. A 3,000-pound Warn winch, heavy-duty bumpers as well as other factory features define the 2013 Can-Am™ Outlander™ XT and XT-P ATVs. For superior performance through muddy or more challenging terrain, the X mr version of the 2013 Can-Am™ Outlander™ offers 62 and 82 horsepower V-Twin engines.
