A range of recreational trail bikes, the 2012 Yamaha TT-R line caters to a wide demographic of riders. The 2012 Yamaha TT-R are low-cost motor bikes available in four trim levels. Presenting an upgrade from the Yamaha PW50, the 2012 TT-R50E introduces youth riders to the nuance of gearshifts. The 2012 Yamaha TT-R50E is powered by a 49 cc four-stroke engine mated with a three-speed transmission. Equipped with an inverted fork front suspension and a motocross-style rear suspension, the 2012 Yamaha TT-R50E also features an electric starter. Featuring a 110 cc engine connected to a four-speed gearbox, the 2012 Yamaha TT-R110E delivers greater power and longer wheel travel than the TT-R50E. Wheel travel for the front of the 2012 Yamaha TT-R110E is rated a 4.5 inches while the rear wheels move by 4.3 inches. The two smaller Yamaha TT-R models are suited for youth and teen riders. For adult riders, the 2012 Yamaha TT-R125LE and TT-R230 are available with front disc braking as well as greater wheel travel. The 2012 Yamaha TT-R125LE is propelled by a 124 cc powerplant while weighing less than 200 pounds. Offering peak performance in the line-up, the 2012 Yamaha TT-R230 pairs a 223 cc engine with a six-speed transmission. On the 2012 Yamaha TT-R230, wheel travel is rated at 9.5 inches at the front and 8.7 inches at the rear.
