2012 Triumph Tiger Price Details and Specs

Designed for on-road and off-road adventure riding, the 2012 Triumph Tiger line presents impressive capacities in addition to eye-catching style. For 2012, the Triumph Tiger line has been drastically revised. For the 2012 Triumph Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC models, a 799 cc three-cylinder engine provides more robust performance compared to any motorcycle in its class. The 2012 Triumph Tiger 800 XC model caters more towards dirt riding thanks to a suspension providing greater wheel travel comprising of 8.7 inches at the front and 8.5 inches at the rear wheels. Formerly the top-level version of Triumph’s Tiger motorcycle family, the Tiger 1050 SE’s improvements consist of a new aluminum tapered handlebar and a stiffer rear suspension. The seating position has also been adjusted on the 2012 Triumph Tiger 1050 SE for better handling and vision for the rider. All-new for 2012, the Triumph Tiger line-up adds the Explorer model. The 2012 Tiger Explorer becomes the new top model in the Triumph adventure motorcycle line-up propelled by a 1,215 cc three-cylinder engine. A ride-by-wire throttle system, traction control and cruise control are found on-board the 2012 Triumph Tiger Explorer. The rider of the 2012 Triumph Tiger Explorer receives information from an LCD display. Anti-lock braking system is available on the 2012 Triumph Tiger 800 models but standard on the Tiger 1050 SE and Tiger Explorer.
