A motor scooter for riders looking for a high level of refinement when commuting, the 2012 Suzuki Burgman combines practicality with some valued amenities. Styled with some resemblance to touring motorcycles, the 2012 Suzuki Burgman sports a sleek, aerodynamic appearance. Built on a tube frame created using high-tensile steel, the 2012 Suzuki Burgman’s construction accounts for strength, storage room and rider comfort. 41-millimeter front forks and a monoshock rear suspension provide the 2012 Suzuki Burgman with up to 4.3 inches of wheel travel. An Anti-lock braking system is standard on the 2012 Suzuki Burgman line-up coupled with disc brakes on the front and rear. Two versions of the 2012 Suzuki Burgman is available with a single-cylinder and a two-cylinder model both featuring electronic fuel injection. The single-cylinder 2012 Suzuki Burgman 400 ABS features a V-belt drive automatic transmission. Featuring a more powerful, 638 cc twin-cylinder engine, 2012 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive features a gear driven automatic with a selectable Normal or Power shift mode. The 2012 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive also includes slightly larger wheel rims compared to the Burgman 400 ABS. Fuel economy for the 2012 Suzuki Burgman 400 ABS is 56 miles per gallon while the Burgman 650 Executive boasts 38 miles per gallon. Both versions of the 2012 Suzuki Burgman motor scooter incorporate room for two passengers and several storage spaces. In addition to smaller storage compartments onboard the 2012 Suzuki Burgman, an underseat compartment can fit two full-faced helmets.
