Incorporating Rotax’s E-TEC technology featuring electric direct injection, the 2012 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry is powered by either a 594.4 cc or a larger 799.5 cc engine. The 2012 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry with the Rotax E-TEC 800R engine is fitted with dual air intakes for better cooling. Gliding on all-new Pilot DS skis, the 2012 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry line-up is equipped with a PowderMax track with 1.75-inch lugs for better traction in deep snow. Featuring HPG Plus shocks, the 2012 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry rides on a suspension system consisting of front dual A-arms and a rear SC-5 unit. Brembo braking with a stainless-steel braided brake line on the 2012 Ski-Doo Renegade Backcountry provides consistent and reliable stopping power.
