A snowmobile designed for extreme mountain sledding, the 2012 Ski-Doo Freeride 146 delivers a firm commitment to performance riding. Built on a REV-XP RS chassis, the aggressive-looking Ski-Doo Freeride 146 provides several new features for 2012. One of the new additions to the 2012 Ski-Doo Freeride 146 is KYB Pro 40 Easy-Adjust shocks on the front and rear corners. A suspension system comprised of dual A-arms on the front and a SC-5M-2 unit on the rear provides a high level of travel for trekking across terrain. The 2012 Ski-Doo Freeride 146’s suspension also features a quick sway bar disconnect and an adjustable ski stance. Propelling the 146-inch long track of the 2012 Ski-Doo Freeride 146, a Rotax E-TEC 800R powerplant provides assertive two-cycle performance. A PowderMax or a more aggressive PowderMax II track is available for 2012. Catered to giving the rider firm control, an adjustable steering post and a new, narrow seat is found on the 2012 Ski-Doo Freeride 146.
