Four-wheel drive all-terrain vehicles, the 2012 Polaris Sportsman® Touring is an off-roading choice suited for two-passenger riding. Sharing styling with the conventional Polaris Sportsman® line-up, the 2012 Polaris Sportsman® Touring range’s most notable attribute is the raised rear passenger seat. The rear seat on the 2012 Polaris Sportsman® Touring models features a full backrest and massive grip handles. For 2012, three different engine displacements exist for the 2012 Polaris Sportsman® Touring line. Powered by a 498 cc single-cylinder engine, the 2012 Polaris Sportsman® Touring 500 HO rides on a suspension consisting of front MacPherson struts and rear dual A-arms. Active Descent Control and engine braking is included on the Polaris Sportsman® Touring 500 HO partnered with the control of full disc brakes. Featuring a powerful electronically fuel-injected 549 cc powerplant, the 2012 Polaris Sportsman® Touring 550 EPS model adds greater wheel travel, power steering and stylish 14-wheel wheels. For peak performance from the Polaris Sportsman® Touring line, the 2012 Sportsman® Touring 850 HO EPS is outfitted with a two-cylinder 850 cc engine. The 2012 Polaris Sportsman® Touring 850 HO EPS is also available in two limited edition models providing unique equipment to the ATV.
