2012 Polaris Ranger® Price Details and Specs



A line-up of four-wheel drive utility vehicles, the 2012 Polaris Ranger® products excel in recreation and light work duty. Featuring four-wheel hydraulic brakes and an electric start, all 2012 Polaris Ranger® utility vehicles are built on a solid backbone for years of loyal service. The 2012 Polaris Ranger® can be propelled using gasoline, diesel or electric power. A carbureted 455 cc engine powers the entry-level gasoline model of the 2012 Polaris Ranger®. With 29 horsepower, the 2012 Polaris Ranger® 400 can tow up to 1,250 pounds of weight. Featuring electronic fuel injection, 498 cc engine powers the 2012 Polaris Ranger® 500 EFI model with 32 horsepower. A Polaris Ranger® 500 EFI Sunset Red LE model is also offered in 2012 equipped with 12-inch Crusher wheel rims and custom deluxe seating. A 904 cc Yanmar engine powers one of the tougher versions of the 2012 Polaris Ranger®, the Diesel model. Featuring high torque, a 2,000-pound towing capacity and a longer fuel range, the 2012 Polaris Ranger® Diesel also features the highest ground clearance of utility vehicle line-up at 12 inches. For zero-emissions all-wheel drive riding, the 2012 Polaris Ranger® EV features a 30-horsepower electric motor. The 2012 Polaris Ranger® EV shares the 500-pound capacity bed box and four-wheel independent suspension found on the other Ranger® utility vehicles.
