An extreme lightweight performance sled, the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® snowmobile is designed for handling snowy mountains. The 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® utilizes a variety of weight-saving components such as a rear carbon fiber bumper to give the machine a beneficial power-to-weight ratio. Focused on centralized mass and strong engine power, the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® line includes a capable suspension system. Consisting of front Walker Evans coil-over shocks and a coil-over rear suspension, the handling combines with the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® line’s Pro-Ride chassis to provide excellent control. A smaller displacement model powered by a two-cylinder 599 cc Liberty engine, the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® 600 snowmobile returns after a 2011 model year debut. For greater output, the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® 800 features a 795 cc displacement size. Both engines available on the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® feature Cleanfire injection. Both the PRO-RMK® 600 and PRO-RMK® 800 can be equipped with a 155-inch long track. A 163-inch track length is also offered on the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® 800. Suited for single-occupant riding, the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® snowmobile’s aluminum handlebars feature a high-rise design. An electronic security system is optional on the 2012 Polaris PRO-RMK® model range.
