The 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ line-up is a rugged utility vehicle ideal for a wide array of work. Constructed on a full-welded steel frame, the 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ is designed to be long lasting even against harsher climates. More than 40 attachments can be mounted to the 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ such as a salt spreader or a super duty blade. Offering four distinct models for 2012, the Cub Cadet Volunteer™ line starts with two-wheel drive gasoline 4x2 variant. Fitted with an air-cooled, 18-horsepower 624 cc V-Twin engine, the green 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ 4x2 features a 1,400-pound maximum load capacity. Improved traction through four-wheel drive is offered with the 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ 4x4. Sharing the same engine as the 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ 4x2, the yellow-colored Volunteer™ 4x4 model churns out two more horsepower. Providing liquid cooling and electronic fuel injection, the 31-horsepower 747 cc engine on the 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ 4x4 EFI model is red in color and features slightly larger wheels. For fans of diesel engine power, the 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ 4x4D features a three-cylinder, 854 cc powerplant. Four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and a 12-volt power outlet are found on all 2012 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ utility vehicles.
