Constructed for motocross competition, the 2012 BETA RR line incorporates dirt-running toughness with a lightweight design. Built on a steel frame mated with an aluminum swingarm, the 2012 BETA RR models ride on a newly modified Sachs supplied suspension. Allowing up to 11.4 inches of wheel travel, the 2012 BETA RR can spiritedly ridden over challenging terrain. The 2012 BETA RR is offered with four engine options ranging from 349 cc to 498 cc. Powerplants for the 2012 BETA RR models are all four-stroke single-cylinder engines mated to a six-speed gearbox. A mid-year introduction to the 2012 BETA RR line-up is the Cross Country model. Offered only with the 449 cc engine, the 2012 BETA RR Cross Country includes a more aggressive suspension system and several weight-reducing design attributes. A unique weight-saving feature with the 2012 BETA RR Cross Country model is the electric-start and kick-start removal kit.
