Designed as a race-ready line of motorcycles based on the RS, the BETA RS-Supermoto expands to three models in 2011. A dual-purpose motorcycle, the 2011 BETA RS-Supermoto range is built on a chrome-molybdenum steel frame. Riding on 17-inch wheels surrounded by Pirelli tires, the 2011 BETA RS-Supermoto is supported by a suspension system consisting of front 45-millimeter Marzocchi fork and a rear Sachs shock absorber. Wheel travel for the BETA RS-Supermoto motorcycle is rated at 11.4 inches. A 450 model is a returning model while the 2011 BETA RS-Supermoto line-up has added a smaller displacement 400 motorcycle and a larger 520 version. Propelled by single-cylinder, four-stroke powerplants, the 2011 BETA RS-Supermoto has engine displacement sizes of 398 cc, 449 cc and 497 cc. All variants of the 2011 BETA RS-Supermoto include a six-speed transmission and electric start. The one-piece vinyl seat of the 2011 BETA RS-Supermoto provides room for a rider and a passenger.
