2011 BMW K Price Details and Specs



Catering to sport bike and touring motorcycle customers, the 2011 BMW K series is powered by a highly potent four-cylinder engine. The German built motorcycle line uses an aluminum frame as the foundation for the K1300S and K1300GT model. Heavily improved for 2011, the BMW K1300S has undergone changes making the sport motorcycle more powerful and better equipped. The 1,293 cc inline-four engine connected to the 2011 BMW K1300S propels the sport bike with 175 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque. Complementing the newfound performance, the 2011 BMW K1300S is also lighter thanks to the use of magnesium and aluminum components. Now standard on the 2011 BMW K1300S, amenities such as anti-lock disc brakes and an upgraded stereo system now including iPod, Bluetooth and satellite radio functionality. The 2011 BMW K1300GT is offers similar performance attributes to the K1300S sport bike but includes a pair of hard saddlebags. The K1300GT is set to be replaced by the BMW K1600GT during the 2011 calendar year. All models of the 2011 BMW K series incorporate the brand’s Paralever and Telelever suspension.
