The auto industry is full of symbolism, full of history and definitely has its share of iconic vehicles. However, there are very few movies that truly capture these slices of the American Auto Industry. Auto fiends like myself, have movies like Gone in 60 Seconds and its famed Eleanor to The Italian Job with the MINI Cooper. It is nice to have good neighbors. For example, STILLEN who is right down the street  built the amazing Ford GT that competed in the Dunlop Targa Rally in New Zealand. NADAguides.com was a proud sponsor of that vehicle as well as their current project involving the building of a GT-R which will compete in the upcoming Targa Newfoundland. Last night I attended the premiere of the new film “Raptor - Born in Baja” which is a joint production between Ford Motor Company and Brentwood Communications. The premiere was held at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood and it came complete with a few celebrities and a red carpet that covered a makeshift dirt entrance. The movie was certainly intriguing; telling the story of the Raptor team and their quest to build and race the truck in the Baja 1000. However the truck itself was the most interesting part of the night. More...
