So, my wife and I decided that the long Thanksgiving weekend would be a good time to get out of Orange County and explore this great state a bit. The idea was also appealing to our neighbors, Tom and Michelle, and our two dogs, Frank and Beans. Clearly, a sports car is out of the question for a trip with this many passengers; however a 2009 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid arrived the day before turkey day, and I found one more thing to be thankful for this year. The 2009 Saturn Sky Redline is a small package with a big punch.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if a Cadillac XLR and a Chevrolet Corvette got married and had a car baby? No? Just me then… Well, if it happens then the result would be a 2009 Saturn Sky Redline. A two-seat, turbocharged, rear-wheel-drive roadster sure sounds like a fun package, but can Saturn really deliver in this area when they are known more for reliable and safe sedans? Yes they can. Any automaker who wants to prove its vehicle's performance takes the car to Germany's famed Nürburgring track, and Cadillac is no exception. It took its limited-edition 2009 Cadillac CTS-V to the challenging car racing circuit for testing and found that the sporty sedan did more that prove itself—it will be the world's fastest production sedan on the market when it arrives later this year.
