Steve Millen, legendary race car driver and owner of Stillen Motorsports, opened the doors of his Costa Mesa, California facility to the public on May 17, 2008. For the 12th year, Stillen has provided Nissan and Infiniti owners with an up-close look at their operation, as well as a chance to purchase parts with on-site installation at no extra charge.
While over 800 cars were in attendance, ranging from Datsun 510s and 240s to Infiniti G37s and Nissan Titans, the real stars of the show were parked directly in front in the Stillen lot. Nissan representatives were on hand to unveil the redesigned 2009 Nissan Maxima, the 2009 Infiniti FX50, and a pair of show-stopping 2009 Nissan GT-Rs.

Stillen Shows Off 2009 Nissan GT-R and Infiniti FX50
The 2009 Nissan Maxima is a great leap forward over the 2008 Nissan Maxima in terms of its outward appearance.

2008 and 2009 Nissan Maxima
The 2009 Maxima takes styling cues from its Infiniti siblings as well as draws upon a few styling lines of the new GT-R. This is most notable in the shoulder line running down the side of the car, which ties nicely over the slightly-bulging rear fender.
Besides the exciting new vehicles on display from Nissan, Stillen displayed its own tweaked versions of the 350Z, G35, Sentra, Altima, Titan, and Frontier. Sitting near the entrance to the garage was Steve Millen’s legendary 300ZX Twin Turbo Race Car. A historically significant vehicle, the race car was driven to numerous victories and championships in the IMSA Sports Car Series, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, and the 12 Hours of Sebring by Steve himself. Although based on the older Z32 model 300ZX, the car was still extremely impressive amongst the sea of newer vehicles.
