Ford keeps pushing the envelope by creating a brand and lineup high in demand and always ahead of the competition. They take classic success models and turn them into powerhouses time and time again. The 2011 Ford Taurus Limited (as test driven) is the ultimate package. With a strong, yet graceful exterior look that makes you wonder if it classifies as sporty or luxurious, and jam packed with advanced technology in its class, this vehicle left the drivers at NADAguides fighting for the driver’s seat.
Equipped with a V6 3.5L engine and 263 horsepower under the hood, the Ford Taurus drives smoothly and is very easy to handle. It is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift. The rear suspension is multi-link fully independent suspension with coil-over shocks and a stabilizer bar and the front suspension is independent, MacPherson struts with rear-facing lower L-arms with a stabilizer bar; this makes for a pretty solid ride. The Ford Taurus gets about 18city/28hwy which isn’t the best fuel efficiency in its class, but unless you want to spend more money, you can’t really beat this at this trim level when compared to other vehicles. As for safety, this vehicle made i...

Luxurious, smooth drive, sleek style come to mind at the thought of the Lexus LS 460 4 door sedan. While these words may be no surprise, it should be noted that Lexus has held its ground in the luxury world, even while introducing the all wheel drive options and the first luxury hybrid SUV. Lexus seamlessly merged hybrid technology with their elegant style; making sure consumers didn’t have to give up the luxury look for hybrid technology.
When it comes to elegance, the 2011 Lexus LS 460 is all too familiar with the term. While Lexus combines sportiness and luxury with some of their other models, the LS 460 stands alone as purely elegant. Perhaps it’s the slender exterior lines, the interior matte finish wood paneling or the plush leather seats that welcome you so delicately, either way driving this vehicle makes you feel like the only appropriate thing to do is pop some Mozart in the stereo and enjoy the ride. Although the LS 460 comes in a variety of exterior color options – eight to be exact –the starfire pearl, which had just a hint of sparkle, really did it a whole lot of justice. Even in white, this vehicle had no problem looking sleek and slender; which tends to be a ...

Just about every recent article written on the Buick nameplate starts with that same old, “It’s not your Grandpa’s Buick.” Although overused and quite true, the 2010 Buick LaCrosse seems less like a Buick and more like a Lexus. Sure, it’s debatable, but the exterior design, combined with a refined interior make the 2010 Buick LaCrosse a standout. Although entangled in the dilemma facing General Motors, Buick has stayed true to its brand and continues to develop classy American cars that its owners can be proud of. When you ask a 30-something old if they’d consider a Buick, the answer is always no. So, the question is, how will Buick change this? Enter the 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXS. The NADAguides.com team test drove this LaCrosse for one week and by the end of the week, we managed to sell one car. Our office neighbor saw it, sat in it, test drove it and bought it. Just that simple! Now if they could just recreate this among all model lines, Buick would be back among the elite.
The newest Lacrosse to hit the roads takes on many European design cues that give the LaCrosse a more taught, modern and masculine appearance. The ...
