AutoTrader Find of the Week: 1983 Land Rover One Ten

A rugged and polarizing iconic SUV, the classically styled Land Rovers of years past show case a tough exterior design contrasting a civil interior fit for the Queen. The Defender series is the best representation of this style and was brought into the United States starting in 1993. The rest of the world was able to enjoy this vehicle when it was introduced back in 1983, ten years prior. One lucky Floridian managed to import and register a 1983 Land Rover One Ten, and is now offering this extremely clean example for sale. More...

Cruisin’ For a Cure 2009

Posted by Jeff Glucker on Monday, September 28, 2009 2:31 PM
The 10th Annual Cruisin' for a Cure
The tenth-annual Cruisin’ for a Cure.

The tenth-annual Cruisin’ for a Cure took place this past weekend at the Orange County Fairgrounds. This “show and drive” is a very important one to keep checked on your automotive event calendar. It is a showcase for hot rods, muscle cars, custom classics, rat rods, modern muscle, exotics and anything else under the sun to show up and show off. Classic Road Test Review: 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi

Posted by Jeff Glucker on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 8:16 AM
1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi
The 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi is at my office and the owner wants me to drive it. Alrighty then.

“So I have a friend who owns a 1980 Ferrari, would you want him to bring it by the office?” asked my co-worker.

Yes. Yes I would.

I have ridden in a Ferrari once, but I have never been behind the wheel. However, a 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi just showed up at the NADAguides.com office and the owner is handing me the keys More...

Road Test Review: 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8

Posted by Jeff Glucker on Friday, January 09, 2009 1:32 PM

2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8
A modern shape based on a classic design, the 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is a good looking car.

I was born in the year 1980. This means I was "lucky" enough to grow up around cars like the 1981 Ford Mustang with its three-speed automatic transmission and 120 hp V8 (the lowest ever for a V8 powered Mustang) as well as the 1982 Chevrolet Malibu with its 105 hp V6. I missed the Muscle Car era by quite a few years. I was sad about this right up until I was handed the keys to a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Limited Edition. More...

Seen In SoCal: 1965 Chevrolet Impala

Posted by Jeff Glucker on Friday, November 07, 2008 9:06 AM

1965 Chevrolet Impala
This 1965 Chevy Impala still prowls the streets of Southern California, always ready for an impromptu sock hop or drive-in movie…

Driving through local Southern California neighborhoods, I come across a lot of classic American muscle cars. Every now and then I see one which makes me want to take a closer look. The color of this 1965 Chevrolet Impala caused me to swing my car around and talk to the owner, Doug Enfinger, just as he was finishing hosing off the car. Clearly a man who cares for his classic car, Doug agreed to  a few questions and some pictures of this beautiful, very green Impala, which Doug has lovingly named "The Dill." More...
