Posted by Tara Baukus Mello on Saturday, June 21, 2008 5:48 PM

Audi has released official information of its redesigned 2009 Audi A4, arriving in the U.S. this fall. Compared to the 2008 Audi A4, the 2009 model is 4.6 inches longer yet is 10 percent lighter due to increased use of lightweight steel. It features a completely redesigned suspension and is powered by a choice of two gasoline direct-injection engines: a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 211 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and a 3.2-liter V-6 that produces 265 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are available with a six-speed Tiptronic transmission, featuring a manual shift mode.
