Following a redesign in 2007, the Tundra 4WD truck saw nominal updates in 2008. A new flex-fuel 5.7-liter V8 engine was made available for 2009. A midrange V8 was added in 2010, and the Work Truck packages were updated to modify some features. In addition, front-seat knee airbags and optional folding towing mirrors and backup camera were offered.
Trailer sway control was made standard for 2011. Model years 2012 and 2013 would only see nominal changes to trim levels, with a 1794 Edition Western edition model being unveiled for 2014, with all models receiving standard backup camera.
A real workhorse amongst full-sized pickup trucks, the
Toyota Tundra is large, in charge and ready to haul even the most oversized loads without fail and with the reliability of one of the most respected
automakers behind its design.
